Lauren Baca
Lauren Baca is a fine art landscape photographer and storm chaser based in New Mexico. Her love of photography flows naturally out of the joy she finds in nature. Most days you can find her pursuing the beautiful fury of severe weather across Tornado Alley with her husband Tim Baca, summiting mountains, scrambling up sand dunes, or gazing at the endless galaxies stretched above us in the night sky.
Lauren’s hyper-realistic style was inspired by photography legends like Wayne Suggs and Ben Strauss. She is rising quickly as an artist to watch with photos displayed in New Mexico’s largest print gallery in Carrizozo, in the 2022 Time Magazine sponsored FOTO Gallery at NFTNYC in New York City, and in the 2023 Time Pieces/National Geographic-sponsored gallery at Art Basel Miami.
